At the prow, a winged genius of Liberty in the oarsman's position faces them, also wearing a Phrygian cap. In the background, the Statue of Liberty rises above the harbour with celebratory vessels, and the legend arcs around the upper field with the date in Roman numerals in the centre. Signed O. Dimensional inscriptions for the statue and pedestal heights appear in the lower left and right fields respectively. |
