The inscription reads 'ضرب' (meaning 'struck'), characteristic of Ottoman mangir coinage of the early seventeenth century. The surfaces exhibit heavy patination and die wear typical of base-metal hammered coinage of this period. The flan edges are uneven and ragged, consistent with hand-cut planchets standard for Ottoman copper issues. No decorative border or additional ornamental elements are present. |

The script is rendered in a bold, somewhat crude manner consistent with provincial hammered copper coinage of the Ottoman period.
