| Obverse description | Central design featuring a stylized espaliered tree with six symmetrically arranged branches radiating from a central trunk, each branch terminating in a small square object, possibly representing a fruit or berry. The composition is rendered in a flat, schematic style characteristic of Flemish hammered coinage of the late 12th to early 13th century. Between the arms of the cross in the outer field, alternating annulet and pellet ornaments (⊚ • ⊚) are distributed, adding decorative articulation typical of anonymous Flemish bracteate-influenced small coinage of this period.
