附加信息	Kotys I ruled the Odrysian kingdom at its greatest territorial extent, pushing Thracian influence deep into the Chersonese and maintaining enough leverage over Athens to extract tribute rather than pay it. He was assassinated in 359 BC by a disgruntled Greek craftsman named Python of Ainos, an event Demosthenes later cited approvingly. The coinage attributed to his reign is poorly stratified chronologically, and the distinction between Type I and Type II issues remains debated in the scholarship — Jurukova's classification is widely used but not universally accepted.
