Obverse description Zeus Lykaios enthroned facing, his head turned to the left, depicted in a severe archaic style. The deity is shown seated on a low throne, holding an elongated scepter upright in his left hand, while an eagle spreads its wings in flight from his extended right hand. The figure is rendered in bold relief, characteristic of early Arcadian coinage of the Peloponnesian region.
