| 正面描述 | Bunch of grapes depicted facing, rendered as a cluster of large raised pellets arranged in a triangular form tapering toward the base, characteristic of the archaic Cycladic coinage style. The bunch is set prominently within the round flan, with individual berries clearly articulated as bold spherical bosses. The field surrounding the grape cluster is plain and unadorned. No legend or inscription is present. The design is a well-known emblematic type associated with the island of Tenos, reflecting the region's viticulture. |

Tenos, one of the smaller Cycladic islands, produced coinage during this period in quantities modest enough that surviving specimens cluster almost exclusively in European institutional collections. The Boston MFA example is among the handful used to establish the type's chronology. Little is documented about the island's mint authority in the Archaic period, and the attribution to this two-decade window rests primarily on stylistic comparison with better-attested Cycladic issues rather than any hoard evidence specific to Tenos.
