| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central device comprises a long ornate cross with a fleur-de-lis finial at the top, around which four heraldic shields are arranged in the angles: upper left bearing the arms of the Empire (eagle), upper right the arms of Burgundy (diagonal stripes), lower left and lower right bearing additional episcopal and dynastic arms. The cross shaft terminates at the base with a decorative element. The entire central design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by the mint legend in Gothic lettering. |

Two flanking pillars or candelabra frame the enthroned figure on either side. Below the throne, a large heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Bishopric of Utrecht is prominently displayed. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the surrounding legend in Gothic lettering reading the devotional inscription referencing David as servant. |
