| Obverse description | Nimbate bust of Saint Peter facing, depicted in Byzantine style with a cross-topped nimbus; the saint is shown draped, holding a key in his right hand. The effigy is rendered in a crude but expressive manner characteristic of Crusader coinage. Greek legend partially visible to either side of the bust, reading OAΠ-TPOC, identifying the saint. The flan is irregular and shows typical surface porosity associated with hammered copper issues of the Principality of Antioch. |

| Reverse description | Large cross pattée extending to the flan edges, dividing the field into four quadrants. Greek legend distributed in the quarters of the cross reads BA-IM / VN-OC, a corrupted rendering of BOHEMUNDOS, identifying the issuing prince Bohemond II. The lettering is characteristic of the debased Greek epigraphy found on Crusader copper coinage, and the die work is bold though somewhat rough in execution. |
