| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of João, Prince Regent, facing right, rendered in high relief in the neoclassical style. The prince's hair is elaborately styled with a laurel wreath, and the drapery is visible at the truncation. The circular legend reads JOANNES.D.G.PORT.ET.ALG.P.REGENS, divided by the effigy, with the date 1807 appearing in the lower field beneath the bust. |
