| Описание аверса | Bare-headed, laureate bust of the emperor Hadrian, draped and cuirassed, facing right and viewed from the front, with finely rendered curly hair and a short beard characteristic of Hadrian's portraiture. The effigy displays a paludamentum fastened at the shoulder over scale armour, conveying imperial military authority. The circumferential legend HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS runs around the bust in incuse Latin capitals. The portrait exhibits the refined Hellenistic artistic style favoured during Hadrian's reign, with naturalistic facial modelling. The coin displays an attractive dark green patina with areas of earthen encrustation consistent with an excavated specimen. |

| Описание реверса | The emperor Hadrian is depicted as an equestrian figure, galloping to the right on a prancing horse, his paludamentum billowing behind him as he brandishes a spear held diagonally across his body. The bold, dynamic composition fills the field and conveys imperial military prowess. The abbreviated legend COS III P P appears in the upper field around the periphery, while the senatorial authorisation mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently placed in the lower exergual field, divided on either side of the horse's forelegs. The relief is strongly struck, preserving considerable detail in the horse's musculature and the rider's military dress despite overall wear. The reverse patina is consistent with the obverse, presenting the characteristic green-brown surface of a circulated bronze issue. |
