Obverse description Draped bust of Persephone facing right, her hair rendered in flowing waves and bound with a wreath of grain ears, executed in the Hellenistic style characteristic of Emporitan coinage. Three dolphins are arranged around the effigy in the field, serving both as decorative elements and as civic symbols evoking the maritime identity of the colony. The portrait displays fine engraving with carefully articulated facial features, reflecting the strong influence of Syracusan coin art. Iberian script legend runs along the outer rim of the coin.
