| Mô tả mặt trước | Facing right, the youthful and beardless head of Heracles is rendered in fine Hellenistic relief, enveloped in the scalp of the Nemean lion with the beast's gaping jaws framing the hero's crown and the forepaws knotted at the throat. The modeling of the facial features is accomplished with considerable naturalistic skill, conveying both the heroic vigor and the idealized youth associated with Alexander's royal iconography. A beaded border is visible along the coin's periphery. |

The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs to the right of the enthroned figure. In the left field appears the mint control letter Κ, and beneath the throne a crescent symbol serves as an additional mint control mark identifying the Colophon issue. |
