| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the Islamic shahada rendered in Arabic script, disposed in two horizontal lines: the upper line bearing the first testimony of faith (lā ilāha illā Allāh) and the lower line the second (Muḥammad rasūl Allāh). The legend is presented within a plain linear border enclosed by a partial dotted outer rim, typical of Mongol-period hammered silver coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly cupped, with characteristic die-shift and weak strike areas consistent with hand-hammered production at a Central Asian mint. |
