Reverse description Central ornate spoked wheel motif with multiple radiating spokes emanating from a central hub, the design executed in bold relief characteristic of the Bulghar mint's ornamental series. The wheel is enclosed within a circular border, beyond which radiate short rectangular projections or bars at regular intervals, creating an overall sun-like or rondel effect filling the flan. The entire composition is anepigraphic, with no inscriptions present, and the design occupies nearly the full extent of the irregularly shaped hammered flan.
