| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field dominated by a stylized tamgha device of geometric and curvilinear form, composed of intersecting linear elements, a circular loop, and a six-pointed star motif, with pellets distributed within and around the central design. The type is anonymous, bearing no ruler's name or title, characteristic of early Golden Horde fractional silver coinage. The flan is irregularly shaped with a ragged edge consistent with hand-cut hammered production. Marginal legend traces in Arabic script are partially visible around the periphery. The overall die workmanship reflects the schematic, non-figural aesthetic typical of mid-13th century Bulgar-region Jochid dirhams. |
