Beschrijving keerzijde Entirely epigraphic design in Kufic Arabic script, arranged in concentric circular registers mirroring the obverse layout. The innermost circle contains a two-line Arabic inscription within a dotted border, surrounded by an annular band of legend separated by plain fillets. The broad outer marginal band carries a further Arabic inscription encircling the entire coin. The die work follows the Fatimid dinar tradition closely, with the royal and religious titles of William I rendered in an elegant Kufic hand; a suspension hole is pierced at the bottom of the flan.
Schrift keerzijde Arabic (Kufic)
