Reverse description A winged thunderbolt depicted horizontally in the centre of the field, with wings spreading upward from the central shaft and zigzag lightning bolts radiating to each side, a characteristic symbol of Zeus employed in Ionian civic coinage. A monogram, likely that of a magistrate or civic official, appears above the thunderbolt in the upper field. The ethnic or magistrate's name ΔΙΟΓΕΝΗΣ is inscribed in Greek letters along the lower field, partially visible on the flan. The overall composition is bold and well-centred despite the irregular flan.
