Beschrijving voorzijde	A plain cross with four wedge-shaped ornaments filling the quadrants between the arms, all contained within a plain inner circle. The legend +CEHANVS REX (referring to King István/Stephen) runs around the periphery between the inner circle and the beaded outer border. The design is characteristic of early Hungarian hammered coinage, struck on a small, irregularly shaped flan with bold, if somewhat crude, execution.

Beschrijving keerzijde	A plain cross with four wedge-shaped ornaments between the arms, enclosed within a plain inner circle, closely mirroring the obverse composition. The peripheral legend LAD LAVS RE, an abbreviated reference to King László (Ladislaus), encircles the design between the inner circle and the beaded rim. The hammered flan shows characteristic irregular contours and surface texture typical of medieval Hungarian deniers of this period.
