| Obverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, a stylized facing bust of Saint Wenceslas depicted in a primitive Romanesque manner, with a radiate or crown-like headdress and long flowing hair rendered in schematic lines. The bust occupies the central field and is rendered in a bold, archaic style characteristic of early Bohemian coinage. The surrounding legend in Latin reads SCS WENCEZLAVS, distributed around the outer border of the coin. |
