Denier - Pepin the Short Zurich mint

正面描述	Flat, uninscribed field displaying the monogram of Pepin the Short rendered in bold, hammered capital letters: a large P to the left and a B (or R) to the right, with the letters HAD arranged in the lower register between them, all set within a plain border. The lettering is deeply struck in a primitive yet bold Carolingian style characteristic of early Frankish monetary production. No effigy or figurative element is present; the design relies entirely on the royal name monogram. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, typical of hand-hammered silver deniers of the mid-eighth century. A partial beaded border is visible along the right periphery.
