背面描述	The reverse bears the mint name PΛRI·SII (Paris) arranged in two lines across the field, separated by a central pellet, referencing the Paris mint (Moneta Parisii). The lettering employs the same Carolingian epigraphic style as the obverse, with lambda-shaped A forms and a pellet separator between the two syllabic lines. The flat field is largely unadorned, placing full emphasis on the mint inscription. The flan edges are irregular and show typical die-shift and plancher irregularities consistent with ninth-century hammered coinage. This simple two-line mint-name formula is a hallmark of Carolingian denier reverse design under Charles II (the Bald).
