Reverse description As a true bracteate, the reverse presents the incuse mirror image of the obverse design, struck in very thin silver sheet so that only a single die impression penetrates through the flan. The incuse relief shows the crowned facing bust and associated pellet groupings in negative form, with the surrounding beaded border and peripheral legend visible in reverse impression. The flan exhibits characteristic bracteate irregularity with ragged edges and minor splits consistent with the thin-flan hammering technique employed in medieval Polish coinage of the late twelfth century.
