Obverse description Within a raised beaded border, a cross pattée centered in the field, with a small crescent or pellet motif visible at the base of the cross. The design is struck in low relief characteristic of bracteate coinage, with the thin flan displaying the typical shallow impressions of hammered medieval technique. The field is otherwise plain and unlettered.
