| Описание аверса |
Facing view of a triple-towered castle gateway, the central tower surmounted by a domed finial and flanked by two smaller crenellated towers, all rising above a rounded arched gate set within a rectangular façade with ashlar detailing. A stylised nettleleaf (Nesselblatt) ornament appears within the upper arch above the gateway, serving as the heraldic symbol of Hamburg. The entire device is contained within a plain inner circle bordered by a prominent beaded outer rim, the whole executed in the flat, relief-pressed style characteristic of late medieval North German bracteate coinage. |
