| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bracteate struck on a thin, broad flan with a characteristic convex relief. The central field displays the Brunswick lion passant, rendered in a schematic Gothic style typical of late medieval Lower Saxon bracteate coinage. The lion is depicted facing left with pronounced pellet detailing along the body, set within a plain inner border. The surrounding flat rim shows the irregular edge characteristic of hand-hammered production. No legend is present on this type. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents the incuse mirror image of the obverse, as is inherent to the bracteate technique whereby only a single die is used to strike the thin silver flan. The concave field shows the corresponding negative impression of the Brunswick lion passant, with the surrounding flat rim retaining faint traces of the hammer strike. The surface displays natural age patination consistent with medieval silver coinage. |
