| 裏面の説明 | The reverse presents the incuse mirror image of the obverse, as is inherent to the bracteate technique whereby only a single die is used to strike the thin silver flan. The concave field shows the corresponding negative impression of the Brunswick lion passant, with the surrounding flat rim retaining faint traces of the hammer strike. The surface displays natural age patination consistent with medieval silver coinage. |
