Denarius Juno

Beschrijving voorzijde	Draped head of Juno Sospita facing right, wearing her distinctive goat-skin headdress with the animal's snout visible over the brow and the hide falling behind the neck, rendered in a bold if provincial Celtic die-cutting style. Three pellets are visible beneath the chin or along the jaw area, a decorative detail characteristic of Eraviscian coinage derived from Roman Republican prototypes. The letter T appears in the left field as a control mark or tribal symbol. The flat, unadorned field shows the characteristic fabric of a hand-struck flan, with an irregular raised border.
