Brahmi characters naming the ruler Namvihaksha are arranged in the field, the overall composition typical of the post-Kidarite debased dinar series where iconographic fidelity has been largely lost. The reverse field retains vestiges of the original Kushano-Sasanian Ardoksho type from which this series ultimately derives.
