Reverse description Central field displays the titulature of the Rawwadid ruler Muhammad ibn al-Husayn in multiple horizontal lines of Arabic Kufic script, arranged within a plain inner circle. A surrounding marginal legend carries a quotation from the Quran, Surah XXX (Al-Rum), verses 3-4, affirming divine authority. An outer band separated by a linear border bears additional inscriptions, enclosed within a beaded rim. The flan is broad and irregular in outline, with moderate surface wear and encrustation consistent with extended circulation. The die work reflects the epigraphic style characteristic of late 4th–early 5th century AH provincial Islamic coinage.
