| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate head of Vespasian facing right, rendered in high relief with characteristically strong, mature features typical of Flavian portraiture. The emperor's neck is bare, with the laurel wreath clearly visible around the crown of the head. The encircling legend reads IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait conveys a sense of authority and realism consistent with the veristic tradition of Roman imperial coinage. The flan is irregular, as is characteristic of hammered bronze coinage of this period, and the surface shows a green patina from age. |

| Opschrift voorzijde | IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG (Translation: Imperator Caesar Vespasianus Augustus. Supreme commander (Imperator) Caesar Vespasian, emperor (Augustus).) |
| Beschrijving keerzijde | Standing figure of Aequitas, the personification of equity and fairness, depicted facing left in long draped robes. She holds a pair of scales in her right hand and a long vertical sceptre or rod in her left hand. The senatorial authorisation mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently placed in the lower field, flanking the figure on either side. The partial legend COS DESIG III TR POT appears around the upper periphery of the flan. The composition is typical of early Flavian bronze coinage struck at the Rome Mint, with the reverse type emphasising Vespasian's constitutional legitimacy. |
