The emperor's effigy displays the characteristic strong facial features associated with Domitianic coinage, with the laurel wreath tightly fitted to the head. The circular legend runs along the periphery of the flan, interrupted at the base of the bust. The flan is irregular in shape, as is typical of hammered bronze coinage of this period. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | A finely detailed rectangular altar depicted in architectural elevation, set upon three ascending steps at the base, with prominent voluted horns at each upper corner. The altar face is decorated with a panelled door rendered with four compartments, flanked by pilasters or column details on either side, evoking a sacral monument dedicated to the goddess Salus. The senatorial authorisation mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently displayed in large letters in the left and right fields respectively. The reverse legend arcs across the upper and lower periphery of the coin, framing the central architectural motif. |
