Reverse description A cornucopia rendered in bold relief at center, abundantly filled with fruits and foliage, its voluted base curving downward toward the lower field. The colonial mint signature is divided by the central device, with the legend 'C·L·Q' appearing to the left and 'COPIA' to the right, identifying the quaestor's mark and the colony name of Copia (modern Thurii). The composition is typical of Roman colonial bronze issues of the second century BC.
