Beschrijving voorzijde	Bare male head of Ariarathes III facing right, wearing a bashlyk — the characteristic pointed cap of Anatolian and Persian tradition — with the flaps visible around the neck. The portrait is rendered in a Hellenistic style, with strong facial features and a slightly rough surface consistent with hammered bronze coinage of the period. No visible legend on the obverse.

A Greek legend appears around the field identifying the issuer.
