| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse bears a multi-line Arabic calligraphic legend filling the entire field, reading the Sultan's tughra-style titulature: 'Sultan Mustafa bin Ahmed Han dame mulke darebe fi Islambol 1171,' with the regnal year or last two digits of the Hijri year positioned above the letter N of the Sultan's name in the third row depending on the variety (KM#324.1 and KM#324.2 respectively). The inscription is executed in bold Ottoman naskh script and is enclosed within a broad beaded border. Weight varies from 23.50 to 30.00 grams and diameter from 43.00 to 45.00 mm across specimens. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays a bold four-line Arabic calligraphic legend in Ottoman naskh script, filling the entire field within a beaded border. The inscription reads the full imperial titulature: 'Sultan ul berreyn ve hakan ul bahreyn es sultan ibn es sultan,' proclaiming the ruler as Sultan of the two lands and Khagan of the two seas, son of the Sultan. The lettering is deeply struck with broad, sweeping strokes characteristic of large-module Ottoman billon coinage of the mid-eighteenth century. |
