| Beschrijving voorzijde | Hammered silver flan of irregular round form bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription in raised calligraphic script across the entire field, divided by a horizontal line. The legend reads in four lines: 'Sultan Shah Selim Ibn Bayezid Han,' identifying the ruler as Sultan Selim I, son of Bayezid II. The script is executed in the characteristic bold Ottoman thuluth style typical of early sixteenth-century akçes. No border or decorative frame is present, with the inscription filling the coin surface to the very edges. The flat, uneven flan surface reflects standard hammered production technique of the Ottoman mint workshops. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Hammered silver flan of irregular round form bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription in raised calligraphic script, divided by a prominent horizontal line bisecting the field. The upper portion of the field contains the pious invocation 'Nasruhu Azze' (May he be victorious), while the lower portion records the mint name (partially legible or variable by issue) and the AH date 918 (1512/1513 CE). The inscription is rendered in bold Ottoman calligraphic style consistent with the reign of Selim I. No decorative elements or border are present. The flat, irregular flan and variable strike quality are characteristic of hammered Ottoman akçe production of this period. |
