The script is executed in the characteristic bold Ottoman thuluth style typical of early sixteenth-century akçes. No border or decorative frame is present, with the inscription filling the coin surface to the very edges. The flat, uneven flan surface reflects standard hammered production technique of the Ottoman mint workshops. |

The flat, irregular flan and variable strike quality are characteristic of hammered Ottoman akçe production of this period. |
