| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic provincial style, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and segmented cuirass rendered in relief. The emperor's effigy is boldly modelled, with the laureate wreath clearly defined above the brow. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust within the field, the flan exhibiting an irregular edge with a notable chip at the upper right. The reverse field carries a dedicatory inscription in Greek arranged around the figure, recording the benefaction of the local magistrate Menekles. |
