| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Mysian civic coinage. The effigy displays the emperor's portrait with a laurel wreath crowning his head, the drapery visible at the shoulder truncation. The circular Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan, framing the imperial portrait. The die engraving reflects the local workshop tradition of Cyzicus, with a bold, if somewhat coarse, rendering of the imperial likeness typical of late first-century provincial bronzes. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Demeter standing facing left in full figure, draped in a long chiton and himation, her weight borne on her left leg in a relaxed contrapposto stance. In her outstretched right hand she holds ears of grain (corn-ears), the primary symbol of her domain over agriculture and the harvest. Her left hand holds a tall, long torch, the attribute associated with her search for Persephone. The Greek civic legend naming the local strategos encircles the reverse field, attesting to the authority of the magistrate Tiberios Klaudios Hagnias under whose supervision the coin was struck at Cyzicus. |
