| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Valerian I facing right, depicted from the rear in three-quarter view, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and segmented cuirass rendered in fine detail. The emperor's laureate wreath is clearly articulated, and the portrait conveys the characteristic mature physiognomy of Valerian. A beaded border frames the entire field. The Greek imperial legend encircles the bust, reading Α Κ ΠΟ ΛΙΚΙ ΟΥΑΛΕΡΙΑΝΟϹ, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. |

The multi-line reverse legend fills the exergual and field areas, referencing the city's triple neocorate status and the presiding magistrate. A beaded border frames the composition. |
