Before her stands Marsyas, the satyr, depicted facing right and carrying a wineskin over his shoulder, positioned atop a short column or pillar in the left field. This juxtaposition of Tyche and Marsyas is a well-attested type for Carrhae's colonial coinage, emphasizing its status as a Roman colonia.
