| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Severus Alexander facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic Cappadocian style, with the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in relatively high relief, with the laurel wreath clearly visible crowning the emperor's head. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the field. |

| Reverse description | The sacred Mount Argaeus depicted in three-quarter view, shown as a conical peak surmounted by a radiate or flaming summit, resting on a base or altar; a six-pointed star appears to the left in the field and a crescent to the right, both common astral symbols associated with this type. The reverse legend is divided, with the mint and civic title abbreviation running along the sides and the regnal year in Greek numerals (Γ = year 3, corresponding to 223-224 AD) inscribed in the lower exergual area. The entire composition is characteristic of the prolific Caesarean civic bronze coinage struck under the Severan dynasty. |
