The portrait is set within a broad circular field, surrounded by a Greek legend distributed around the periphery. The facial features are carefully modelled in the provincial style characteristic of Cyrenaican bronzes of the Julio-Claudian period. The drapery at the base of the bust is lightly indicated. The two portraits are rendered in moderate relief, the facial features distinguishing each prince with restrained provincial artistry. The Greek legend is arranged around the periphery of the coin, identifying both figures as Caesars. The field between and around the busts is plain and unadorned.
