The two portraits are rendered in moderate relief, the facial features distinguishing each prince with restrained provincial artistry. The Greek legend is arranged around the periphery of the coin, identifying both figures as Caesars. The field between and around the busts is plain and unadorned. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze production. |
