| Obverse description | Laureate head of Drusus Caesar facing right, rendered in moderate relief with fine engraving of the laurel wreath. The portrait is set within a broad circular field, surrounded by a Greek legend distributed around the periphery. The facial features are carefully modelled in the provincial style characteristic of Cyrenaican bronzes of the Julio-Claudian period. The drapery at the base of the bust is lightly indicated. The overall style reflects the influence of Alexandrian die-cutting traditions. |
