| Beschrijving voorzijde | Draped bust of the personified Roman Senate facing right, depicted as a diademed female effigy with elaborately rendered drapery visible at the shoulder and chest. The bust is rendered in a provincial style characteristic of Phrygian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. The circular legend ΙΕΡΑ ϹΥΝΚΛΗΤΟϹ (Sacred Senate) surrounds the bust, partially visible around the periphery of the flan. |
