| Obverse description | Draped bust of the personified Roman Senate facing right, depicted as a diademed female effigy with elaborately rendered drapery visible at the shoulder and chest. The bust is rendered in a provincial style characteristic of Phrygian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. The circular legend ΙΕΡΑ ϹΥΝΚΛΗΤΟϹ (Sacred Senate) surrounds the bust, partially visible around the periphery of the flan. |

| Reverse description | Standing figure of the lunar deity Mên facing right, with a crescent moon at his shoulders, holding a long sceptre in his right hand and a pine cone in his left. His left foot rests upon a bucranium (ox skull), a characteristic attribute linking the deity to sacrificial ritual.
