| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Septimius Severus facing right, with short beard and draped shoulder visible at truncation, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage. The effigy displays the emperor's characteristic features with curled hair beneath the laurel wreath. A partially preserved Greek legend surrounds the portrait, running along the periphery of the flan.
