| Obverse description | Bearded head of Priapus facing right, wearing an ivy wreath, rendered in high relief with carefully detailed facial features including a full beard and strong profile. The ivy wreath, the deity's characteristic attribute, is clearly articulated atop the head. The portrait is contained within a dotted border, typical of Hellenistic civic bronze coinage from Mysia. The modelling reflects competent die-engraving of the late Hellenistic period. |
