| Opmerkingen |
Majdanpek is a copper-mining town in eastern Serbia whose operations were nationalized under Yugoslav socialist self-management. Enterprise-issued token currency of this kind — known as abonentski boni — functioned as internal scrip, typically redeemable at the company canteen or workers' store rather than circulating freely. They were a practical tool of the self-management system, tying wages and purchasing power to the enterprise itself.
These pieces were produced in small runs, rarely formally archived, and seldom survived outside the workplace. Documentation on individual mine issues remains fragmentary.
