| Obverse description | Printed in red on cream paper, the obverse is divided into three vignette panels: a central panoramic view of the Natternbach village skyline with a church steeple, captioned 'Natternbach a. Güden' on a scroll banner, flanked by smaller vignettes of the school at St. Sixt (lower left, labelled 'Schule in St. Sixt') and the filial church at St. Sixt (lower right, labelled 'Filialkirche in St. Sixt, nachgewiesen seit 12. Jahrhundert'). The denomination '80 Heller' appears in bold Gothic numerals at both left and right, with the heading 'Notgeld der Gemeinde Natternbach' in ornate blackletter script across the top; the date '22/VI. 1920' and two facsimile signatures of municipal officials are inscribed in the lower centre panel. |
